Pet Vaccination FAQs
How often do pets need vaccinations?
What vaccines are considered core vaccines for dogs and cats?
Core vaccines protect against several highly contagious and potentially deadly diseases that all pets are at risk of encountering, no matter their lifestyle.
For dogs, core vaccines include rabies and DAPP (Distemper, Adenovirus, Parvovirus, and Parainfluenza).
Core vaccines for cats include rabies and FVRCP (Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus, and Panleukopenia).
Depending on your location and pet’s exposure, we may recommend optional vaccines such as Leptospirosis, Bordetella, Lyme disease, and FeLV (Feline Leukemia).
