Pet Lab Testing FAQs
What is in-house lab testing for pets?
In-house lab testing allows us to perform veterinary diagnostics like blood testing, fecal exams, and screening panels in the clinic. This means faster results and quicker decisions for your pet’s care.
What conditions can pet blood testing detect?
Pet blood testing can identify many of the same issues that blood tests can detect in people. It can help detect infections, organ function issues, chronic conditions, and early signs of disease.
Do you use an outside lab for additional testing?
How long does it take to get lab results?
Many in-house lab results are available the same day, allowing us to discuss findings with you during your visit. More advanced tests may take anywhere from 2 days to 1 week, depending on the complexity.
